چکیده
In this study, 16 seasonal fly ash samples of municipal solid waste incinerator (MSWI) were collected in from waste-to energy power plant Cantho city to analysis the physical properties and heavy metals content. The results showed that are very alkaline with porous spherical shape, particle size 1-100 µm. analytical disclosed these samples, Zn, Pb, Al, Fe Cr found at high content range 0.36-19.05 mg/kg while toxic Ni Hg also ash, 0.141 0.51 mg/kg. Thus, is not hazardous can be used for reuse industries or land reclamation. SEM/EDX XRF quite similar a difference below 5%, indicating both methods applied research metals. findings study guide management, treatment MSWI incineration plants Vietnam.

Phosphorus recovery from municipal solid waste incineration fly ash.
The potential of phosphorus (P) recycling from municipal solid waste incineration (MSWI) residue is investigated. Vast and ever increasing amounts of incineration residues are produced worldwide; these are an environmental burden, but also a resource, as they are a major sink for the material flows of society. Due to strict environmental regulations, in combination with decreasing landfilling s...
متن کاملEnvironmental Management of Fly Ash Produced from the Incineration of Municipal Solid Waste
Incineration is a widely used and well established technology for the municipal solid waste (MSW) management. Modern MSW incineration plants are equipped with improved air pollution control (APC) systems, which reduce pollutants well below the established limits. The environmental concern has, thus, moved from the air emissions to the solid residues generated from the APC systems of the inciner...
متن کاملSpeciation of copper in the incineration fly ash of a municipal solid waste.
The speciation of copper and zinc in the incineration fly ash of a municipal solid waste in Taiwan was investigated in the present work. By the least-squares fitted X-ray absorption near edge structural (XANES) spectroscopy, we found that CuCO3, CuOH2, and CuO (fractions of 0.09, 0.39 and 0.51, respectively) were the main copper species in the fly ash. Quantitative analysis of the extended X-ra...
متن کاملDistribution of Chloride in Municipal Solid Waste Incineration Bottom Ash
Chloride content is a critical problem for the reuse of incineration bottom ash as raw material in cement. The effect of dechlorination procedure largely depends on the existence form of the chlorides. However, limited information about the distribution and identity of chlorides in bottom ash can be obtained by bulk analysis methods. In this paper, the investigation towards a more comprehensive...
متن کاملCarbonation of Municipal Solid Waste Incineration Fly Ash and the Impact on Metal Mobility
Fly ash from municipal solid waste incineration ~MSWI! is considered as hazardous waste that calls for a robust, reliable, and reasonable treatment technique. This investigation aims to assess the impact of CO2 partial pressure, water addition, time, and temperature on the stabilization of MSWI fly ash with particular emphasis on Pb, Zn, Cd, and Cr. Carbonation and element mobility were studied...
